The given diagram illustrates different stages in the development of a marine creature, namely salmon. Overall, there are three significant changes involved in the process of its transformation, commencing with laying eggs in slow moving of the upper river and ending with mature adult fish. In the first stage of their life cycle, after a massive number of salmon eggs laying under the reeds and tiny tones are hatched into fries which vary in size from 3-8 centimeters within five to six months, they move to a faster-flowing lower position and stay in this inhabitant in the course of four years. They grow into smolt in the next phase of their physical development and measure between 12-15 centimeters. At this point of their life, they make migration to the open sea. Eventually, they turn into 70 to 75-centimeter adult salmon after five year at sea. Having fully undergone all the transformation, they move back to the original places to give birth and the life cycle of salmon begins again
