The given chart compares data about the proportion of VietNamese people who get their news from various types of media in three different years 2013, 2015 and 2017 Overall, It can be clearly seen that television and Internet showed the higher trend than the newspapers or radio in the period of 2013 to 2017. According to the chart, standing at 80 percent, people who access news via television accounted the highest percentage in 2013, and experience a slight decline to about 68 percent in 2015 before going up just 70 percent in 2017. Otherwise, there are a noticeable increase in Internet users from 31 to 41 percent through the period between 2013 to 2015 and then rocketed about 37 percent, reaching the same data of televion users in 2017. In comparison with the percentage of television and Internet, those of newspapers and radio were completely different. The trend of newspaper readers in Vietnam witnessed a constant decrease from just over 40 percent to 20 percent over the period 4 years, starting from 2013. In addition, the percentage of radio listeners remained unchanged, with appoximately about 30 percent during the period from 2013 to 2017.
