The supplied chart provides data on currency expenditure for books in four European countries, namely Germany, France, Italy, and Austria over the period of 1995 to 2005. The proportion measures with million US dollar. Overall, it can be seen that there was an increase in the amount ofall the given trends in the given time. As the line graph highlights, Germany started by 80% in 1995, before raising by 10% in 1999, then it saw a slight decrease to about 85%, after that, it raised to approximately 95% which was the highest number in all the depicted time. There was a moderate growth in the percentage of France between 1995 and 1999, from just above than 55% to 60%, before climbing significantly in the next 2 years. Then it levelled off in the following couple year then increased slightly to around 73%. By contrast, Italy experienced maintaining the same level with some fluctuations over the time of 1995 and 2003, then climbed moderately to just above than 50% from 50%. The portion of Austria first, grew gradually, after it have maintained constantly, from 30% to 40 in the yerns of 1995 and 1999, and with 40% at the years of 1999-2001. Afterwards, it experienced a dramatic raise to just above 70%.
