The flow chart depicts the life cycle of the silkworm. Overall, there are 5 main steps in the process beginning with eggs laid on a leaf by a mother worm and ending with moths. The life commences with 2 larval stages. Everything begins with plentiful small eggs are laid on a leaf by a mature worm. After 10 days, the caterpillars hatch and become silkworm larvae whose main source of food is the mulberry leaf on which the eggs are left at first.
