The two diagrams above depict a house’s current plan and suggested plan with some changes for its ground floor. They also include a legend on the right side of them. Overall, the kitchen and the living room in the diagram that shows the changes are kept the same, yet the hall has been altered significantly. The changes include the relocation of the stairs. They are currently closer to the entrance door but the second diagram proposes that the stairs should be further away from the entrance door. Furthermore, the external wall between the living room and the hall has been removed expanding the living room. Some minor changes are made for the internal as well. Currently, someone has to pass through the hall in order to go from the living room to the kitchen; however, the suggestions made regarding the doors indicate that the living room and the kitchen are directly connected.
