This diagram depicts how an egg is turned into an adult butterfly. Overall, it is clear that there are main four steps in the lifecycle of a butterfly. Caterpiller is turned into an adult butterfly and then it eventually lays eggs and the cycle is repeated. First of all, egg laid by an adult butterfly is hatched and a small caterpiller is formed. It is called pupa. They eat leaves of the plants which they are located and grows rapidly. Secondly, pupas wraps into a chrysalis and then it hangs from the leaf or atom. Its chrysalis otherwise called coccon. Inorder to emerge as an adult butterfly. Then, the cycle is repeated by adult butterfly by laying eggs.
