The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes KLWw
The given diagrams illustrate the procedure for cement-making as well as concrete is produced using different types of equipment in different stages. Overall, in cement production, three types of equipment are required, whereas in concrete production only one equipment is used. To begin with, cement is produced with a mixture of limestone and clay. In the first step, limestone and clay are crushed thoroughly with help of a crusher. Then, this powder (a mixture of clay and limestone) is passed into the mixture, where it is mixed. In the next step, the mixed material is rotated into the rotating heater, where the heat is provided with some external heat source. Then, this mixture is grinded with help of a grinder, and cement is produced. In the last step, cement is packed into small bags and distributed further. In the second procedure, to produce concrete, cement and water are mixed with different proportions ( 15% cement and 10% water respectively). After that, 25% sand and 50% graved are added into the concrete mixture. Lastly, the concrete mixer is rotated horizontally for some time and concrete is ready for use and produced at this stage of the process.
