The images in sequence illustrates four relevant moments of coastal formation of sedimentary rock. Each picture can be divided into several cause-effect linked happenings that lead to rock's birth. The place on the seaside have to be full of mountains, from which rocks can fall down. First of all, the main cause at the beginning of the events chain is the rain. Without it, nothing of what is illustrated can happen. So, after a storm, clearly a violent one, pieces of soil, plants and ground start to crash, being driven by the water and the gravity to the feet of the mountain. Here is where they meet the sea. Summarising, the raining water let mountains be friable, with the conseguence of the formation of both little and big rocks that roll from the highest side to the sea, taking with them all they meet during the downhill. After have reached the water, lightest rocks stay on the surface, while the heaviest ones go down. In this way strates have formed, and during the time they become alway tougher untill beeing sedimentary rocks.
