The two maps compare the information about local museum and its surrounding in 1957 and 2007. Overall, several changes can be witnessed throughout the given period, however the most noticeable is tree demolished throughout the period. One change that stand out is that there has been significant redevelopment over the whole period. Cafe now dominate the area of what was once museum store room. In 1957, there was national history exhibition which was completely replaced by local history room in 2007. Entrance was moved from middle to the left of the building. Visitors should now enter form the museum shop. A museum shop lead to the way of reception. The museum enlarged to added special exhibition and education centre. Another striking change is that the tress have been profoundly affected over 50 years. Most of the tree was near museum building. Right side of the trees cut down for car parking and for driven away.
