Recycling aluminium begins with people through used cans into the bin and ends with reusing them as cans which are made from 74% recycled aluminium. In the first step, people put used cans into the bin which is only for aluminium cans. Next, garbage trucks collect the cans to their garbage truck tanks. Once cans are collected, they are going to be washed and cleaned. Then they are sorted, shredded and compressed by machines. Following that, the cans are heated and it melts them as liquid. They are then hardening as a roll which is 2. 5mm to 6mm thick. Eventually, they are becoming as cans again. In the UK, 74% of aluminium is recycled and reused.
