The diagram shows Lakeside development between years 2000 and 2009

The diagram shows Lakeside development between years 2000 and 2009 wKder
The two maps illustrate Lakeside reconstruction from 2000 to 2009. Overall, the residential area which was situated to the north of the river remained unchanged. School didn’t remove it either between 2000 and 2009. Looking at the map of Lakeside of 2000 year, we can conclude that it was a small and undeveloped city. which hadn’t enough facilities for people's comfort, such as shopping centres, educational institutions, parking places for vehicles and offices. On the other hand we can see many changes in the map of Lakeside in 2009. Residential area near the river to the north was replaced by a shopping centre. To the south of the river there were residential areas and industrial complexes were situated. The residential area was removed and the industrial complex was enlarged which gave people job opportunities and gave the city a chance to develop more. To the north of the river, the old town replaced by offices and university, a derelict warehouse was redeveloped as a car park. Looking at the map, we can also see that the art centre was renovated and became a cinema. Lake from which the river starts became a pond.
