From the ocean, initially, water will contribute around 80% of total vapour into the air because of heat from the sun, through the evaporation process, condensed the water vapour and become clouds. After that when the cloud is condensed sufficiently and format to be precipitation, such as snow and rain. The water from a sky could be contained as a lake, freezing and covering the mountain. When the ice is malted and runoff from the surface, the land will absorb the water as groundwater above an impervious layer.
The groundwater will be returned to the sea and gradually mixed with the saltwater and ready to be conducted again.
