The diagram below shows the process of generating electricity from coal.
The process demonstrates the way in which thermoelectricity is produced. Overall, there are four main stages of the production, beginning with coal and culminating with electricity transmitting in the electric wire. The first stage of the electricity generating is coal heating. The stage begins with the coal supply system where coal is loaded on the conveyor belts to continuously move to the pulverizer. Following this, the mineral substance is compressed into coal powder. Having been crushed, the coal powder is carried to the boiler to be burned. As soon as the burning step produces heat, the heatwaves instantly follows the tube to the turbine for the second stage which is generating electricity. Besides, the dust exacted from the burning process is undergone an auxiliary stage. After the dust collection system accumulates all the muck, all the muck is released by a stack. Additionally, the ash is also handled by the ash solving system to disposal outside the manufacturing process. Back to the heat perspective, the heatwaves moves the turbine leading to the movement of the generator. Subsequently, the generator produces electricity which is stored in the substation or a transformer. These mentioned power stations are going to transmit electricity to the electric wire. While most of the heat wave’s purpose is turning the turbine, a minor amount of heat goes into the condenser. Then the heatwaves is cooled down by the cooling system which produces cold gas returning to reduce the temperature of the boiler.
