The given line graph delineates the information about the number of three categories of marriages namely all marriages, remarriages and first marriages in the Uk over the given period of 50 decades. Units are measured in thousands. Looking from the overall prospective, it is readily apparent that the number of all marriages were the maximum as compared to remarriages and first marriages over the whole given period. According to the chart, in 1951, approximately 45 thousands all marriages took place and the number increased gradually and reached the peak level to about 550 thousands in 1981.
