The diagram below shows how electricity is generated in a hydroelectric power station.

The Provided diagram illustrate the systematic workflow of production of electricity in the hydroelectric power station including the accurate information of practices followed in the recent times. Overall, The Utilization of reversible turbines are considered to be major positive point owing to fact that less consumption of water without wasting the primary resources in the process. It is pellucid that, The Arbitrary pathways which is made by nature to flow of water from mountains are namely, Rivers. In addition to that the Resources from the river are stored at certain places by blocking with gigantic wall are called Dam. During the Sunlight shines, The High-level reservoir is opened followed by water is allowed to flow through the small pipe to produce the electricity. Once the sufficient resources are possessed by tubes to power stations then turbines acts as a generator to manufacture the electric waves. Furthermore, They are passed over power lines which are also known as natural grids to the residential areas for domestic purpose. Moving towards the night time, The whole process are reversed except the flow of generator in the station. Nevertheless, The Pumping of water from low-level Reservoir back to the high-level resevoir through pipe with a help of strong mechanical force.
