Overall, energy is proposed to be generated out of bio-degradable waste to create compost and use the resultant methane gas to generate electricity after going through various stages in the process. The first step in the process involves filling an underground steel tank with scraps, leaves, and other bio-degradable wastes with water and fill it up to 75% of its capacity. The compost ferments and produces methane gas, which is directed to the storage tank via pipes. The second stage involves allowing methane to pass through a compressor to the combustion engine directed through a long pipeline. The third stage proceeds to take place when mechanical energy produced by the engine is released and directed to a generator, converting the mechanical energy into electrical energy, which is then stored with the help of a battery for usage. The energy thus produced can be used for providing electricity to the home.
