The given diagram illustrates the mechanism of a wave-energy machine and where it is located.
Overall, it can noticed that the wave energy machine helps in generating electricity through the water waves.
The wave machine is designed in such a manner that as the waves are directed towards the machine making the water level in the machine to rise. Due to which the a air flow is created which makes the turbine to move in a clock wise. Then the same air is ejected out through an opening at the top of the machine at the right hand side. And through the left hand side the air once again enters the machine which leads the turbine to move in an anti clockwise motion. Then the same air flow is mainted as it moves from top chamber to the bottom one eventually into the water.
The location of these wave machines play a crucial role in its output. The deeper and taller the machine with larger waves, the higher the output as compared to the smaller machines which are located in less deep water creating smaller which would lead to low output. Although the charges differ for both. The smaller machines have low installation costs compared to the taller ones.
