The line graph illustrates, the total intake of fast food by Australian adolescents from 1975 to 2000. Overall, the graph of hamburgers and pizza were showed steady but significant rise, while the data of fish and chips represented too many fluctuation and declined over the period. In early 1975, the consumption of pizza and hamburgers were nearly, (10% to 20% respectively). Hamburgers rate increased sharply throughout the period, exceeding fish and chips rate in 1985 and reaching almost 95% in the end of the period. In the meantime, the percentage of pizza also rose dramatically by hitting its peak point around 80% in the year 2000. Furthermore, in the year 1975, the buying rate of fish and chips (95%) was the highest among these three products. However, its rise and fall irregularly all over the time. Initially it fallen to around 75% in 1980, then again shot-up to roughly 85% in 1985, after that it decreased to 40% in 1990 and remained unchanged for rest of the term.
