The chart shown below analyses the number of cinema visits on age groups of 14-24, 25-35, 35-49 and 50+. The statistical table also shows from the time period of 1996 to 2000. Predominantly, the trend of the 4 age groups are the same, however the group that has the highest number of visits is 14 -24 compared to the lowest group of 50+. The statistical table shows the attendance increase and decrease slightly over 5 years. In 1996, about 62% of the total population went to the cinema about 10. 3 times a year. This attendance increased to 72% one year later and then remained stable until 1998, despite a fall of 2% from 1998 to 1999, then rose back to 72% in 2000. Meanwhile, the average frequency increased 11. 1 times annually in 1997, but then it stabilized at around 8. 2 to 8. 3 in the 3 more years.
