The bar chart shows the country’s export earning in billions of dollars in five different product groups from 2015 to 2016 and the table illustrates the proportion change in export income between 2015 and 2016.
Overall, in the bar graph, petroleum and engineered products had the highest export earnings in two years, especially in 2016, both exports increased and hit high records. Furthermore, in the table, 4 categories were raised with the exception of gems and jewellery commodities.
It is clearly seen that in the bar chart, petroleum products increased from little over $60 billion in 2015 to around $62 billion or $63 billion in the next year while engineered goods made almost $58 billion and then increased to over $60 billion. Moreover, agricultural products earned around $31 billion and textiles was more than $25 billion. Next year, they made approximately $32 billion. However, jewellery and agricultural products decreased from $43 billion to $41 billion.
In the table, textile exports climbed by more than 15%, which was the highest increase. Next, engineered goods grew by 8. 5%, petroleum products also rose 3% and agricultural products made about 1%. On the other hand, Jewelry products had a roughly 5% decline.
