The charts indicate international travelling information of around 100000 UK residents for a four-year period from 1994-98. The sample includes details such as destinations and purpose of visits of UK residents in their journeys abroad. Major section of travelers go on a holiday purpose to explore the world and remaining people visiting for business, friendly stopover and other reasons are one-fifth of the people who go on holidays. Major travelers visit Western Europe compared to North America and other areas. North America attracts less number of tourists from UK compared toalternative areas. Holiday sightseer always increased gradually in number except in 1995 for a small dip. Business tourists and people who visit abroad to visit their family and friends are consistently on the rise by a small margin. People who visit for any other reasons are less than a thousand for the whole duration.
