The line graphs illustrate the data in the past and the future projection on the the number of population in the rural and urban area and the difference in age structure between 1950 and 2040. Overall, there exists an upward trend in the total population which is mainly due to the increase of citizens in the city. The other line graph witnesses a similar trend of people over 65 and under 15, while the number of people in working age surges over the period. Regarding the first graph, the data of population in rural areas remained stable at approximately 5 millions from 1950 to 2000 and is predicted to level out until 2040. The figure of cities rose dramatically from barely 7 millions to 10 millions people between 1950 and the end of 2020. and the number of citizens will grow roughly double after 20 years. The total population in the beginning was 10 millions, which is nearly double the number of rural citizens, and it will skyrocket by more than four times over the period. In 1950, the number of people over 65 and under 15 was approximately 7 millions. The figure fluctuated slightly until 970 and then hit a plateau at barely 10 millions over the period. The data of citizens at the age of 15 to 65 was about 5 millions in 1950 then surged to roughly 32 millions in 2020 and will rise substantially by 3 millions over the period.
