The charts below show the proportion of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010,

The pie charts illustrate and compare the percentage of British students at an university in England managed to speak speak languages other than English in 2000 and the next decade. From the provided data, it is clearly shown that Spanish is the second most spoken language among the university students apart from English in both 2000 and 2010. And pupils were not intended to learn any other languages decreased in half as well. With some certain languages namely French, German and Spanish, the rate for Spanish speaker were 30% in 2000 and it reached a peak of 35% in 2010 as the most spoken. Subsequently, German language speakers remained constant at 10% within 10 years. In contrast, students who speak French actually decreased by 5% from 15% to 10% in 2000 and 2010. The number of students who speak another two language have extended 5% during the period. Moreover, two other language speakers also went up by the same 5% rate during the period from 2000 and 2010. Interestingly, percentage of disciples who used to know only English as main language dropped in half from 20% to 10% shows the willingness of them to learn second language.
