The bar chart illustrates the number of Japanese tourists in millions who commuting abroad between a decade and line chart depicts the Share percentage of Japanese tourist market by Australia. Overall, it clearly stands out from the chart that the number of Japanese tourists were increasing by each passing year; however, Australia share the proportion of Japan's tourist market showed an upward trend. To begin with bar chart, almost 5 millions tourists were start their journey to abroad in the year 1985. In the next five years, the number of tourists who traveled overseas climbed by nearly 7 millions, while in 1991, the dramatic decrease depicts in tourists number from 11 millions in 1990 to 10 millions in 1991. In the year 1993, 1994, 1995 the number of Japanese tourist increase with 12, 14, 16 millions respectively. Turning to remaining details, the percentage of Japan's tourist market share from Australia presented the 2 percent in 1985 which escalate from 2 to roughly 5 percent in 1988 and previously increasing the proportion of Japan's tourist market shows sharp decrease with half percent in 1989, on the contrary in later years, it shows the increment in market share percentage.
