The graph illustrates how many library books read by boys and girls at Starmouth School between 2009 and 2012. At the beginning of the graph, boys were reading more books than girls. There was a steady rise for one year. This was followed by a gradual decrease from 2010 to 2012. After it reached to 100 books, the number of books read by boys dropped gradually to 80 in the last year, in 2012. On the other hand, first three years, girls and boys had an upward trend at Starmouth School library but it changed after 2011. Girls started the trend with a gradual climb and then showed a rise dramatically. In the 2012, they continued to growth considerably and reached to 140. Overall, there was an increase in the number of books read by girls over the period given while the number of men reading books had various levels such as a decrease in the last year, although they reached same level in 2011.
