The charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three types of nutrients, all of which may be un healthy if eaten too much.

The pie charts illustrate the percentages of nutrients (sodium, saturated fats, and added sugar) in the four various meals in the USA consumers. Overall, the highest proportion in both sodium and saturated fat is a dinner meal, except in snack time that people eat more sweet food. Furthermore, those people consume the least amount of these three types of nutrients in breakfast. In terms of the dinner meal, the consumers have a special meal consisting of the highest sodium and saturated fat in 43 percent and 37 percent respectively, while they consume sweets only 23 percent. At lunchtime, there are 29 percent and 26 percent saturated fat compared with a small percentage of added sugar which is almost twenty percent. On the other hand, there is no more than twenty percent of nutrients in breakfast which is included 14 percent in salty food and 16 percent in both grease and sweety food. In addition, 14 percent of sodium and 21 percent of saturated fat consisting of snacks which is significantly the highest amount in sugar, around 40 percent.
