The three pie charts illustrate the proportion of land is used for three purposes different including, pasture land, arable land, and non-agriculture land in Portugal, New Zealand (N. Z), Canada, and Norway.
At the first glance, it is clear that almost 4 countries’ land is non-agriculture. Besides, except N. Z, other countries have a larger percentage of arable than pasture land.
Observing the data in further detail, we can see that non-agriculture land makes up more than 90% of Canada and Norway, follow by Portugal is also relatively high, at 57%. In contrast, N. Z’s land is used for the pasture purpose is close behind at roughly 51% of non-agriculture land, at 48%. On the other hand, in Canada, Norway, and Portugal is just under 10% for the pasture area, with the rate of 2%, 1%, and 9% respectively. Whereas Portugal uses 34% of total land for arable, the other countries use less than 5% for this purpose.
