Overall, as can be seen in the chart, the most common purpose of people visiting to the library in both years was to borrow or return books. It is also clear that there was a new reason is to borow and return videos apppeared in 2000. In 1991, the porportion of borrowing and returning book was 65% and experienced a noticeable decrease of 10% in 2000. The percentage of studying was 10% in 1991 and experienced a fivefold decline to a tiny fraction nine years later. The reason read newspaper or magazine also experienced a significant fall from 15% in 1991 to 5% in 2000. In contrast, at the beginning of the period, the number of people going to the public library to obtain information is 10%, but went up double in 2000.
