The bar graph illustrates the proportion of adults of different age groups using the internet between 2003 and 2006 in the UK.
Overall, it is clearly observed that over 65s had the least ratio of internet whereas, age group from 16 to 24 show the greatest usage of the internet.
To begin with, young adults aged between 16 and 24 shared the same percentage in 2003 and 2004 which was 80% and in the year 2005 the ratio was almost 100%, this figure then decreased at 90% in 2006 moreover in the 25–44 group there was a gradual growth from 50% to 80% in years 2003 to 2006.
Further moving, for the 45-54 olds the proportion was moderately risen which was 60%, 70%, 75% and 80% in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 respectively. As for the other two groups although, the ratio had minor fluctuation that the whole trend was upwards.
