The chart illustrates the process by which sugar is produced from sugar canes. In general, it is clear that the process consists of seven stages, beginning with growing sugar cane until be mature and ending with drying and cooling product. At the initial stage of the process, sugar canes are cultivated in rows. After 12 to 18 months of growth, they are harvested by hands or by specific machines. The process continues with crushing completely the sugar canes into juice by a grinder machine before being purified by a limestone filter to be ready for making syrup. In the next stage, pure juice is poured into an evaporator where it is heated at a high temperature to remove all of the water out of this liquid to become syrup. After that, sugar crystals are separated from syrup by centrifuge. In the final stage, sugar is dried and cooled to become the final product as sugar.
