The bar chart illustrates, the number of students who have applied for four faculties across three different Universities between 1990- 2010. Overall, Engineering and Business were popular subjects, especially in the year's 1990 and 2010. In both the years 1990 and 2010 the graphs followed a similar pattern with an increasing demand of applications in business and engineering. While, in 1990 and 2010 both these subjects where in contrast with each other, in the year 2000 the demand for Business was higher than the other subjects. Considering, the remaining two applications, which are biology and social works. Both of these courses were not so popular in any of the year's. Biology started with a high number of applicants reaching up to 3000 in 1990. However, it had a sharp dip in the following year's, reaching 1500 and 900 over the two decades. On the other hand, Social works was the only subject in which pupil were least interested, with only about 1800 applicants in 2010 and much lesser in the other two years.
