The chart displays the outcomes of a survey about people's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities. Overall, most of the residents preferred to go to a cafe for coffee or tea in all the cities except Adelaide, whereas the least portion of residents bought fresh coffee in all cities. In Sydney, Melbourne and, Hobart, more than 60 percent of locals went to a cafe for coffee. In Hobart, less than 40 percent of residents bought fresh coffee, while in Sydney and Melbourne, just around 45 percent of locals had bought fresh coffee. The results from Brisbane and Adelaide show that almost an equal percentage of locals had bought instant coffee and went to a cafe for coffee. Just above 55 percent of residents went to a cafe, while just below 55 percent of residents had bought instant coffee in Brisbane. More portion of the locals bought instant coffee than went to a cafe in Adelaide with just below 50 percent of residents for both categories.
