It is readily apparent that petroleum products had the highest figures among all the categories shown in both years. Overall, export earnings from these categories saw a rise in 2016 in comparison with the value in 2015 except for gems and jewellery. The export volume of petroleum products experienced only a slight increase of 3 percent from 2015 to 2016, continuing to being the most valuable export category. In contrast, textiles started with the lowest export value of approximately 26 billion and then rose dramatically by 15. 4 percent in one year.
