The chart indicates the gross number of minutes of phone calls in te UK. Overall, when we take a look at the chart, we notice that there is a number of variations over the years. The number of minutes have changed throughout the chart. Although, locat-fixed line was the most popular; however, other 2 categories have increased by years. The first category is local-fixed line. In 1995 it was around 72 billion minutes. However, as we take a look at the other years. It is easily noticeable that the minutes have improved. 79, 84, 86, and almost up to 90 billion minutes by the end of the 1990s. Since 2000 it has decreased 83, 79, and 72 billion minutes within the years respecively. The second category is National and international-fixes line which was around 37 billion minutes at the beginning of the of the chart. It got 41. 43. 45 and 50 billion minutes precisely during the years. As 2000 started it has raised approximately to 57, 60, and 62 in 2000, 2001, and 2002. The third and last category is Mobiles (all calls). It is different from other two categories for its amount of minutes. In 19o5 it was about 5 minutes. After got almost 7, 8, 9 and 12 billion minutes until 2000. Since 2000 it has increased more, around 23, 39, and 45 billion minutes by the years.
