Overall, it is clearly that, youth unemployment rates were higher throughout the given time period.
Looking at the proportion of jobless young adults, the highest unemployment rates were observed in Poland 37%. Italy came on second place with 23% unemployment rate among young. The lowest figure was recorded in Denmark (less than 5%). Germany and Hungary had approximately three times higher youth unemployment rates compared to Denmark.
With regards to the overall unemployment rates, Poland also had the highest score in this category 15 %. Interestingly, that Germany came next with 10 % in the pool of overall unemployment, while Italy and Hungary had similar levels of overall unemployment, nearly 7-8%. In contrast, Denmark the lowest rates of total workforce approximately 3 %.
