The column graph illustrates the ratio of adults of distinct age groups in the UK who used the Internet on the daily basis between 2003 and 2006. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there was an upward trend in all age groups throughout the period. Adults who used the Internet most were from the age group of 16 to 24 while adults above 65 were the least to use the Internet. Regarding the age group 16 to 24, in the year 2003 and 2004, the percentage of people who used the Internet was the same 80%. Then, there was a significant increase to 100% in 2005 and afterward, it had a slight decrease to 90% in 2006. Looking at the details, people of age group 25-44, there was a steady but significant upward trend over a period. Internet used by adults was 50% in 2003 and it reached exactly 80% in 2006. 45-55 age group people also had the same trend. In 2003, the percentage of people who used the Internet every day was 60% and it ends at 80% in 2006. Adults of age groups 55-64 and 65+ had minor fluctuations over the period and they were the least used adults among all age groups.
