The bar graph below tells us about the number of trips made by children of age 5 - 12 in a country at the particular year 1990 and 2010 to travel to and from school using different modes of transport. The graph clearly shows that the children used more physical transport in the year 1990. In the year 1990, over 12 million children used waking as their mode of transport, which is the highest of all. Likewise, kids traveling by car was the lowest of all with a number just above 4 million. Meanwhile, children traveling by cycle, walking along with bus has a nearly equal number of 6 million people. children who used to walk to school is thrice the number of kids who made their transport in a car. Moreover, in the year 2010 children preferred car as their transport medium to travel to school with a number of 11 million, which is being a total contrast when compared to the year1990. Nearly 2 million children used to cycle as their transportation to school, of the type lowest of all. The mode of waking is drastically decreased in 2010 whereas, car passenger has raised more than twice in 2010 than in 1990.
