The chart provides information about how much money was spent on consumer goods in France and UK in 2010. It can be seen that the most money was spent on cars in both countries. (around 450, 000 pounds). In this year the expenditure on computers was nearly the same. While UK spent more money on books than France ( 400, 000 pounds) the perfume expenditures in France were slightly more than those in UK. The money used for cameras of the year 2010 in UK was forth as many as the money in France. There was a gradual decline in the expenditure on consumer goods during this year. ( form 400, 000 to 150, 000 punds). However, it is noticeable that there were fluctuations in the figures showing the funds spent in UK for consumer goods. Mostly UK spent more pounds on different consumer goods without the exceptions in computers and perfumes, where the expenses were lower than those in France. Overall, Uk had higher expenses than France in the year 2010.
