The line graphs illustrate the modification in using electrical appliances, namely, washing machines, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, and time spending on household chores in a given country from 1920 to 2019. Overall, there was an upward trend in using electrical machines whereas the amount of time in doing housework experienced a sharp decline. The proportion of households with washing machines, refrigerators, and vacuum cleaners were 40, 30, 0 percent respectively at the beginning of the period. However, this figure of those machines rose spectacularly over 99 years, especially the refrigerator, and vacuum cleaner. The two reached 100 percent at the end of the period, and the washing machine climbed to more than 70 percent. With the graph below, gravel spent time doing housework was 50 hours per week in 1920. Then, this figure declined around two times in 1960, at 20 hours. In the next 59 years, this number tended to go down and reach 10 hours in 2019
