Answer: The line graph compares the number of library books which are read by boys and girls at Starmouth School and how these number of the books changed from 2009 to 2012. Overall, the number of library books, which were read by both genders, increased over the period of 3 years. However, the books read by the girls in mostly years rose more steadily than that by the boys. In the 2009-2011 period, there was a slight increase in the library books read by the boys. In 2011, the numbers of books read by the boys reached a peak, 100 books. After that, there has been a downward trend in the following year, as a result this number dropped to 80 books by the year 2012. Over the same period, the books comprehended (studied) by girls didn’t vary more significantly than the boys did. The books read by both genders increased dramatically which rose to the same point around 100 books in 2011. By contrast, the books studied by the girls increased continuously in next years, approximately 140 books in 2012.
