The bar chart illustrates the percentage of donations made by Canadian citizens of different ages in 2000 and 2015. Overall, the biggest portion of money was given by donors older than 35 years. In terms of trends over time, we have downward tendency between 2000 and 2015. The lowest rate of donors can be observed among people aged 18 to 24 years. However, the highest rate differs in 2000 and 2015. In details, it is depicted that age group from 35 to 49 years donated the greatest amount of funds in 2000. Nevertheless, in 2015 the leader in number of donations became Canadians aged 50 to 64 years. In 2000, citizens of Canada at the age from 18 to 49 years allocated more funds for charity purposes than in 2015, which is 5 to 10% higher depending on given age group. Oppose to this, people from 49 years and over donated more significant portion of money in 2015, which accounts for almost 5% increase in each age range.
