The bar chart highlights the data about Canadian benefactors that support some charities in various age groups, comparing the statistics in 2000 and 2015 years. Overall, people in the middle ages of their life made more charitable things than other age groups, whereas the percentage of youngest donors was minimal. Moreover, a greater proportion of Canadian citizens took a part in a donation in 2000 rather than in 2015. In 2000, the major Canadian donors were in the 35 to 49 age groups by 39 percent approximately. However, there was a significant decrease to 34% nearly in 2015. Additionally, the proportion of people in the 18 to 24 age group dropped sharply from 20 percent to 11 percent. While the percentage of the youngest generation went down in a 15-year period between 2000 and 2015, the trend followed an opposite direction for older Canadians. For instance, the figure for older inhabitants in Canada aged 50 to 64 and 65 and over age groups, the share of donors rose from 34% to 38 and from 31 to 34 respectively.
