The chart below gives information on the percentage of British people giving money to charity by age range for the years 1990 and 2010.

The bar chart illustrates the British citizen percentage who giving charity the money in 1990 and 2010 that breaking down by age group. Overall, it is noticeable that there are more charity giving in 1990. However, in the opposite trend there are less people giving out the money in 2010. Interestingly, the people in the age range 51-65 and 65 years older give more charity in 2010. Focusing on the year 1990, there are a highest percent in the age between 36-50 years old which is about 42%. On the contrary, among the teenager have the lowest percentage on sharing which around 17%. Surprisingly, the people who age 18-25 years old give twice the charity percentage in 1990 than in 2010. Turning to the charity in 2010, people who age 51-65 years old give the most charity which is 39%, while the teenagers have the least percentage of charity which is about 7%. In addition, the level of charity in each age group are gradually increasing until the age over 65 years old that is start to decreasing. On the contrary, elderly in the year 1990 spent less amount of money than in the year 2010.
