The given pie charts illustrate that various nutrients such as sodium, saturated fat and added sugars are incorporated in the meals of people and same are consumed by people of the USA. Overall, it can be summarized that sodium and saturated fat are the most common nutrients which are added in the dinner meals while, in the snacks amount of added sugars are more compare to other nutrients. It is evident from the pie chart that in the meals of the nights, there are almost half of the sodium as nutrient while, in lunch it is just above a quarter and breakfast and snacks share almost an identical amount of sodium which is 14%. Furthermore, dinners are 37% saturated fat rich while, it is included just above a quarter in the lunch as nutrient and just above one forth percentage of snacks contain saturated fat while, it is consumed least in the morning. Moreover, 42% of snacks are sweet due to added sugar. It is consumed least in the breakfast followed by lunch and dinner. Hence, it can be said that people of USA are consuming more of Na and saturated fat in various meals but most of snacks contain extra amount of sugar which may be considered as unhealthy.
