The bar graph presents the screening number of movies in 2001 of the UK and Australian market while the line chart depicts the film attendants rate of these two countries from 1976 to 2006. Overall, the British audience appreciates film more than Australians. American films are highest screened in both Australia and United Kingdom whereas, Australian cinema is the least shown in two countries. Similarly, Australia has been lagging behind the UK in its film admission throughout the last 30 years. As the data suggests, more than 75% of USA films were watched by British citizens while Australians saw ten percent less (around 65%) in 2001. On the contrary, movies from different continents are more popular in Australia than their native cinemas as it was rarely screened about 1% in halls. Moreover, British audiences were bigger than Australians according to the film-watching ratio from consecutively three decades. In 1976, 100 million brits went to cinema halls. Although a gradual fall happened until 1985, when the numbers started upsurging, and in 2006 it peaked at almost 160 million. On the other hand, Australian movie-goers were steady for two decades which started rising to nearly 80 million in 2006.
