The graph illustrates data about the four different types of transportation used to travel in European City between 1960 and 2000. Overall, the one mode experiencing a decrease was car, whereas the others decreased over the period. In the first year, the total percentage of people using car was the lowest among the others at around 5%. However, after rising to under 25% in 1980, it rocketed to just over 35 % and ranked the highest in the last period. On the other hand, in the beginning, people preferred to walk rather than using vehicles with which the sum was almost the same as that of car in 2000. Unfortunately, it dropped rapidly after two decades and finally, it was at just under 10% in 2000. Pertaining to the bus, the user rate was at around 20% initially, then over two decades, it grew to just over a quarter, but it was back to just below the initial percentage in the last twentieth century. Regarding another mode, bike was initially the second favorite transportation chosen by people, which was noted at a quarter, yet it fell markedly by 5% in 20 years and suddenly dropped to just around 5% in the last period.
