The charts illustrate energy consumption from different energy resources of the UK and the USA for the years 2000 and 2006. Overall, at the beginning of the period oil accounted for the highest rates for both countries’ energy consumption while nuclear power and other renewable sources were at least. However, the situation was changed at the end – coal sector significantly decreased but gas shows sharp growth for these two countries. According to the chart, UK’s oil consumption and other renewable resources show a slight increase around 2-3% starting from 2o% gas consumption almost doubled after six years.
