The bar graph presented describes number of hours a teacher spends while teaching in various schools for primary, lower secondary and upper secondary level of education in different countries like Japan, Spain, Iceland and USA for the year 2001. In primary level, it is seen that tutors have spent far lower time than other stages of education. However, Iceland has almost 600 hours which is the lowest among all countries given. Whereas, Japan and Spain have spent 600 and slightly more than 600 hours respectively. Moreover, USA has the highest amount of time spent which is close to 800hrs. In lower secondary stage of education, Iceland has again been the least out of all the countries shown. As earlier, In USA tutors have spent higher time amongst all. However, Japan and Spain have spent around 700 hrs. For the upper secondary section, USA has ranked amid all the stages of education as well as countries by approximately 1200 hrs which is almost doubled of Japan(nearly 700 hours). Spain and Iceland has ranked third and second which are more or less 900 hrs. In 2001, USA is leading in all sections while Iceland is last.
