The pie diagram along with the graph represents the proportion of internal training received by the employee and their opinions on the same. Overall, technical skills were given the majority of importance in the training in comparison to the set of skills. While few felt these coaching sessions to be a waste of time, more than 80 per cent of workers considered it to be important for their job. Training for technical skills was around 30 hours followed by career development and interpersonal techniques at 15 hours and 10 hours respectively. While the training Health and safety was given for merely 5 hours and received the least importance. More than 80 per cent of employees deemed the sessions to be of significant assistance towards their work though around 60 per cent found it to be a good excuse for a change. Up to 50 per cent managers believed it to be an excellent networking opportunity.
