Overall, United Kingdom has the major increased on Fairtrade sales over a given of time in terms of coffee transactions whereas Switzerland became the major consumer for bananas in between 1999 and 2004. To begin with, Switzerland became the most top contributors of labelled coffee that earned 1. 8 million of euros in 1999, followed by Denmark and United kingdom which earned 1. 8 million of euros and 1. 5 (millions of euros) respectively, in the same year. However, in 2004 the gross product of coffee in the United Kingdom boost its sales and raised up to 20 million of euros in contrast with Denmark that remained stable within 5 years.
